Only James Peoples Until Penn State Football

When I originally volunteered to take the one-day-left portion of the countdown a few months ago, there was nobody on the current roster wearing the No. 1 jersey. Since that time, not one, but two current Nittany Lions have switched to said jersey number. Ohio State running back transfer James Peoples is one of them, and from all reports from Fall camp are concerned, it sounds like he is a serious candidate to get a ton of reps carrying the rock.

The other person rocking No. 1 for the blue and white is someone we previously covered on the countdown, in defensive end Ike Ezeogu, back when he was still wearing the No. 88 jersey. You can check out what we wrote about Ike back then , if you're curious.
