ESPN’s College Gameday Coming to Provo for BYU-Notre Dame

College Gameday is coming to Provo for the first time in 17 years. The show announced that they will be in Provo this coming weekend for the top 10 showdown between BYU and Notre Dame. Gameday last came to Provo in TCU, when BYU lost to TCU 38-7. LaVell Edwards was the guest picker that day.

BYU is 5-0 and coming off a 24-10 Friday night home win over Iowa State. Notre Dame, meanwhile, hasn't been challenged much on their way to a 6-0 start. This will be the first ranked both teams have played this season.

Notre Dame will likely be a double-digit favorite and has future NFL talent all over the field. Notre Dame has won all six games by double digits, although Michigan State and North Carolina were semi-competitive with the Irish for the chunk of their games.

This is the time in program history BYU will be ranked in the top 10 and host a top 10 team. The game kicks off Saturday, October 17 at 5:30 MT on ABC.
