Man Utd complete £70m deal for Carlos Baleba

Manchester United have announced the arrival of midfielder Carlos Baleba from Brighton and Hove Albion .

Multiple reports claim that the deal has been finalised for an initial fee of £65m which has the potential to rise by a further £5m to take the overall value of the transfer to £70m.

Baleba has signed a five-year contract at Old Trafford which includes the option to extend by a further season.

The 22-year-old leaves the Seagulls three years after arriving from Lille and after making 112 appearances on the south coast.

A full international with Cameroon, Baleba missed Brighton 's opening games of the season with an ankle issue.
