Let's start with the odds for MSU's opening game against Toledo . The spread opened at -11.5 but has since moved to -10.5. For comparison's sake, in our opener last year against Western Michigan, Sparty was a 20.5-point favorite. The over/under is 49.5.

While MSU is favored in game 1, we should not expect that to be the case too often (unless MSU pulls an upset in week 3 against Notre Dame and the books start flipping the odds). Right now, FanDuel has MSU's win total set at 4.5, with the under being a -188 favorite.

Dreaming of a Big Ten Championship ? MSU's odds there are +40,000. That is tied for last with Maryland, Purdue, and Rutgers. Ohio State is the favorite at +180 followed by Oregon (+270) and Indiana (+300).

If you are really in search of a lottery winner, you should take Michigan State to win the national championship . For that, our odds are +125,000. 47 FBS teams have better odds, while every other team is tied with MSU. The favorites are Ohio State (+550), Notre Dame (+600), and Oregon (+750). The Spartans face two of the three favorites for the natty this season.
