Ole Miss football received an encouraging update on its offensive line ahead of Saturday night's road matchup against Texas, with injuries affecting two starters entering the SEC clash.

Starting center Brycen Sanders and left tackle Terez Davis both suffered lower-body injuries during the Rebels' 31-3 victory over Missouri last week. Sanders returned to the game, while Davis remained on the sideline in uniform without reentering.

Both players appeared as questionable on the SEC's availability reports Wednesday and Thursday. Friday's update moved Sanders to probable, while Davis remained questionable.

The two linemen have started all six games this season for the No. 7 Rebels, who enter the matchup at 5-1 overall and 3-1 in SEC play.

On3's Pete Nakos reported Saturday on X, formerly Twitter, that sources expect Sanders to play against the Longhorns and anticipate a game-time decision on Davis' availability.

Sanders' expected availability would allow Patrick Kutas to remain at right guard after moving to center against Missouri. Kutas praised Sanders' handling of the offensive line's calls this week.

The senior center has appeared in 36 career games with 21 starts, including all 15 games at the position in 2025.

Davis' availability remains the outstanding question for the Rebels' offensive line. Connor Howes replaced him against Missouri, while true freshman Kane Mankins is listed as his backup on the depth chart.

Ole Miss has allowed an SEC-low 0.83 sacks per game while protecting quarterback Trinidad Chambliss. Texas has allowed just 106.3 rushing yards per game this season, presenting another challenge for the Rebels' offense in Austin.

The Longhorns will be without star edge rusher Colin Simmons, the nation's sack leader. The No. 19 Longhorns enter 4-2 overall and 1-2 in conference play.

Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET/4:30 p.m. PT on ABC at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, with Sanders expected to play and Davis' availability still unresolved.
