Former WWE champion and movie star involved in serious car crash

Nobody likes to see any current or past WWE superstars hurt but unfortunately for the Great Khali, he's come close to serious injury.

The 7ft giant was a permanent fixture of the WWE world in the 2000s and even held the WWE title for over two months at one point.

Khali has also been credited with being the cornerstone of the 'Punjabi Prison' match becoming a thing in WWE, while he also helped propel the company's popularity over in Asia and in particular, India.

However, in sad news emerging this weekend, it looks like Khali has had a very close call with death.

Khali is a huge star over in India and his career is very much still followed by the press and fans alike.

That's why when there was a huge car crash in his home country and it was indeed Khali who emerged from the wreckage, it was always going to cause a stir.

Thankfully, the WWE Hall of Famer can be seen walking away from the crash and seemingly, unhurt.

As well as being a huge star in WWE , Khali also got his chance in Hollywood, very much being given the chance in films playing the 'big guy' as the likes of The Big Show and Andre the Giant before him did.

Now 54 and firmly retired, Khali remains a fixture on the podcast scene and still plays a role in being an ambassador of sorts for WWE over in India.

Thankfully, he's walked away from this one unscathed and we're reporting the best news possible from a bad situation.
