VIDEO: Angelo State soccer team will start new chapter under head coach Mike Erwin

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — The Angelo State University soccer team opens a new era under first-year head coach Mike Erwin at home Thursday against MSU Denver.

The Belles have nine returners back and 13 newcomers.

In Travis McCorkle's final season last year, ASU finished 9-5-5 overall and 8-3-3 in the Lone Star Conference. The Belles were eliminated in the first round of the LSC Tourney.

ASU has been picked to finish seventh in conference in the LSC Preseason Poll.

The season opener against MSU Denver is scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday at the LeGrand Soccer Complex.
