Extra Point Team of the Week, Week Five: Elba Tigers

ELBA, Ala. ( WDHN )—After pulling off what some might call a massive upset, the Elba Tigers have claimed the latest Team of the Week honors for week five of Wiregrass Football.

Elba is coming off a matchup against the G.W. Long Rebels, a team they haven't defeated since 2015, in a matchup that came down to the wire as the Tigers opted to go for the game-sealing two-point conversion to capture the 37-36 victory.

With the win, the Elba Tigers now sit at 5-1 this year, continuing their five-game winning streak.

Elba will put that streak to the test this Friday, when they face off against the Pleasant Home Eagles.
