Yahoo Sports College Football analysts Eric Froton and Nick Bromberg deliver their boldest college fantasy football predictions for the remaining Week 3 slate.

Ijeboi transferred out of Minnesota in the offseason with the intention of being a starting Big 10 running back. He has made the most of the opportunity, looking both strong and elusive in a 27-carry, 114 yard, 3-TD performance against Wake Forest last weekend.

This week, Purdue travels to face a UCLA defense that allowed a similarly proportioned Cal RB Adam Mohammed to run wild for 120 yards and a touchdown, along with seven receptions and 46 yards through the air. I think Ijeboi is able to run for 100+ yards and rack up 20 fantasy points in a very appealing B10 matchup against a beatable UCLA run D this weekend. — Froton

With a new coaching staff in town, led by longtime Penn State HC James Franklin, the Hokies throwing at top-25 rates on both standard and passing downs. The heavy pass script reflects the trust Franklin has in the cerebral QB Ethan Grunkemeyer , who started seven games in 2025 for Penn State in relief of Drew Allar , winning his last four. Reynolds leads all Power Four tight ends averaging 20.1 half-PPR points per game, and is also the Virginia Tech team leader in targets, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns — a rarity for a tight end in this day and age. With Reynolds being a star on the rise, I think Franklin feeds him with 8+ targets against a competitive Maryland team that can also score, which propels Reynolds to a 100+ yards, two-touchdown breakout performance versus Maryland. — Froton

Need another QB? Bet on Anthony Colandrea

The Cornhuskers QB had a breakout season in 2025 at UNLV and has gotten off to a hot start in 2026. He has thrown for seven touchdowns and just one interception through Nebraska 's first two games and has also added another rushing score. He's rostered in only 16% of Yahoo leagues.

Colandrea's performance is something Nebraska hasn't had at quarterback in a long, long time. He's become the first Cornhuskers quarterback to throw for three TDs in back-to-back games in a decade and there's no reason why he can't do it a third game in a row. Nebraska plays North Dakota in Week 3 before Big Ten play begins. — Bromberg

Believe it or not, the Terrapins have produced a fantasy-relevant receiving duo. Chris Durr Jr. and Na'eem Abdul-Rahim Gladding are each among the top 10 in receptions through the first two weeks of the season. Durr has 16 grabs for 147 yards and a score, while Gladding has caught 14 passes for 187 yards and two touchdowns.

They should have success in Week 3, too. Virginia Tech allowed nine yards per pass attempt to Old Dominion in Week 2, and Malik Washington has already thrown 72 passes so far this season with a completion percentage of nearly 74%. — Bromberg
