Kim Kardashian teases Martin Brundle on F1 grid in Singapore: ‘Did we get off on the wrong foot?’

Kim Kardashian joked with Martin Brundle on the F1 grid in Singapore , asking the Sky broadcaster four months on from shunning him in Monaco: "Did we get off on the wrong foot?"

Kardashian is supporting boyfriend Lewis Hamilton in Singapore this weekend, who started Sunday's grand prix third on the grid.

At the Monaco GP in June, American celebrity Kardashian ignored Brundle's request to speak on the grid, with a few questions falling on deaf ears.

Yet ahead of F1's original "night race" in the Asian city-state on Sunday, Kardashian was more accommodating. As Brundle approached again with his microphone, she said: "Martin… did I not know the rules? Did we get off on the wrong foot?!"

Brundle smiled and replied: "Not it's absolutely fine! Lovely to see you again at a grand prix. What do you think of our crazy world of Formula 1?"

Kardashian said: "I think it's amazing and fun and wild and something I've never seen before, it's amazing."

When asked about Hamilton's strong form and season, she added: "I'm just praying for the best tonight. He's very confident and so am I – got to pray for the best!"

Sky Sports F1 broadcaster Brundle, known for his amusing encounters with celebrities on the grid, had a bizarre encounter with Jimmy Fallon in Miami in May when the American talk show host bit his microphone .

Brundle, who had a mix-up with Lewis Capaldi's brother in Singapore last year and was shunned by Usher in Saudi Arabia, also had a run-in with Kylian Mbappe's bodyguard in 2024 in Monaco, saying "I'm in charge here", when trying to conduct an interview with the France and Real Madrid star.

In Brazil in November 2023, Brundle bumped into American rapper Machine Gun Kelly and an odd interview occurred, in which the American rapper fiddled with Brundle's poppy, asked him to play the air guitar and put his thumb down to the camera at the end.

Brundle also endured hilarious encounters with DJ Khaled and Pharrell Williams in Miami in 2022, as well as a slightly frosty exchange with Cara Delevingne at Silverstone three years ago, in which the model refused to talk to the broadcaster.
