3 reasons WWE's GOAT John Cena is returning to RAW in Brooklyn

WWE is all set to be graced by the presence of none other than The Last Real Champion, John Cena, on its flagship show, Monday Night RAW. For the first time since retiring as an in-ring performer, WWE announced that Cena will be returning to RAW for its November 2 episode of the show, taking place in Brooklyn, New York, next week. This has stirred speculation regarding possible reasons for Cena’s return. So here is a look at three possibilities regarding what John Cena would do upon his return to the red brand.3. Involvement in WWE Crown Jewel PLEJohn Cena’s return coincides with WWE Crown Jewel 2026 Premium Live Event, which takes place just days after that. WWE might want to add to its star power for the show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in preparation for WrestleMania 43, set to take place there in 2027. Therefore, WWE might have convinced Cena to join the festivities, and the Last Real Champion could announce during his return appearance on RAW that he will be a part of Crown Jewel, possibly to make a huge announcement related to WrestleMania next year.2. WrestleMania 43 announcementIn light of the recent ongoing war situation, John Cena is unlikely to join WWE on its tour to Riyadh for the WWE Crown Jewel PLE. However, in a bid to hype the event and WrestleMania 43 next year, they are possibly bringing back Cena to announce the official dates of The Grandest Stage of Them All. It could be similar to the Rock returning to announce WrestleMania 42 in 2025; however, the only difference would be Cena doing it in the United States instead of traveling to Saudi Arabia.1. Revealing details about The John Cena ClassicOne of the strong possibilities for John Cena’s return to RAW next week could be regarding the upcoming unique tournament named in his honor, ‘The John Cena Classic.’ Cena stated that it is likely to begin in December, and he could be coming back on the flagship show to give more details about it, as part of the promotional activities to stir up excitement among fans. Also read: WWE announces John Cena's return to RAW for the first time since in-ring retirementGet the latest Sports News and Live updates.
