Gophers Week 1 transfer report: Ijeboi shines, Perich has mixed debut

Week 1 was a roller coaster in the college football world, and plenty of former Gophers transfers were in action across the country. Here are the most notable performances from former Minnesota players who are now playing for other teams.

The No. 2-ranked Ducks were nearly upset at home against Boise State, and Perich had a lot of the same issues he had last season. He was a playmaker with 11 total tackles, but a few questionable decisions in coverage nearly cost Oregon.

Ijeboi earned the starting running back position at Purdue, and he showed why in Week 1. The Boilermakers opened against Indiana State, which is a bad FCS team, but Ijeboi shined with 11 carries for 87 yards and one touchdown, proving that he'll be a dynamic weapon this season.

Daniels is still the starting right tackle at Ohio State for another season. He played 32 snaps against Ball State before getting pulled early in a blowout win.
