Who are Section V's best cross country runners? Vote in poll presented by Turf Masters

There are fewer than two weeks of high school invitational and league cross country meets remaining in Section V.

Then, it is time for the postseason races on Halloween, including the Monroe County league championships in Parma Park.

November 7 is the date circled on just about all calendars. That is the day of the Section V Championships inside Letchworth State Park.

Who do you think has had the best season so far? The two polls, sponsored by Turf Masters, run through 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22. The winners will be announced on the DandCSports Instagram page next week. And check back in December when we announce the All-Greater Rochester Runners of the Year to see if your picks ended up matching that selection.

Here are some of the top Section V runners who have raced to victories this fall.

Who be the boys cross country runner of the year?

Penfield senior Sean Metzler and Marcus Whitman junior Desmond Hill clearly are building strong seasons.
