Despite a fantastic start to the 2026 season for the Kentucky Wildcats , they did not take the Vanderbilt Commodores lightly coming into the weekend. The Wildcats offense was balance with 173 yards on the ground, and 203 through the air. Kenny Minchey was solid once again, and played a clean game with no turnovers. Meanwhile, Kentucky forced Vanderbilt into giving it up twice, continuing what has been a strength of the team.

On the other side of the ball, safety Ty Bryant added another interception to his total, while teammate Jordan Castell led the Wildcats with 8 tackles. Mi'Quise Humphrey-Grace kept his terrific season going as well, recording another sack.
