Argentina squad for November friendlies

Lionel Scaloni officially announced the squad for the FIFA international window fixtures against Uruguay and Costa Rica , which will mark the end of the sporting year and the formal start of a squad overhaul without Lionel Messi in the team.

With most of the squad selections as expected, attention centered on the defense: young center-back Aaron Anselmino earned his first senior call-up as the coaching staff's standout pick, while Gonzalo Montiel and Mariano Troilo are back in Scaloni's plans.
