SB Nation Reacts Fan Vote Predicts Ohio State to Win the Big Ten Championship

Recently, SB Nation held a fan vote about who the fans think will win the Big Ten and SEC championships this season. The SEC vote was pretty one-sided, with over 56 percent of fans thinking that Georgia will win the SEC. The Big Ten, on the other hand, was much more hotly contested.

Ohio State won the vote, but by a much slimmer margin than Georgia, which had a 25% lead over second-place LSU. Oregon got 38 percent of the vote, while LSU got 31. In third place for both conferences were Texas and Indiana. The Hoosiers got 13 percent of the vote, while Texas got 7 percent.

No matter what, the top of the Big Ten will once again be a dogfight between top tier programs just trying to make history. According to Fanduel , Ohio State is the favorite to win the National Championship right now at +550 with Oregon not far behind at +750. Between them is Notre Dame in second place at +600 while Texas and Georgia are tied behind the Ducks at +800. Indiana rounds out the top 6 at +900, putting three Big Ten teams in the top 6, more than any other conference.
