Colorado football gets no AP Top 25 votes after Week 3 blowout loss
Although Colorado did not receive votes in the AP Poll again, three Big 12 teams rank in the top 25, including BYU, which moved into the top 10.
It is no surprise Colorado didn't receive any AP Top 25 votes after a 41-7 loss to Northwestern, in which they had four turnovers and three failed fourth-down conversions.
However, the poll saw some movement among Big 12 teams. BYU has become the first Big 12 team to crack the top 10, while Texas Tech also went up two spots after their win against Houston. The Cougars dropped two spots, but remain ranked, after the loss. Oklahoma State dropped out of the rankings despite a shutout win over Murray State, but they did receive votes. West Virginia also received votes after their upset win over Virginia, while Arizona and Kansas State also got some votes.
The biggest drop among any team in the AP poll this week is Texas A&M, which dropped 14 spots following their loss to Kentucky. SMU also dropped with their first loss of the season, while Florida and Mississippi State moved into the rankings after being unranked last week.
