Steelers running back a must-start in fantasy football v. Colts defense
ESPN fantasy football analyst Eric Moody is bullish on Steelers running back Jaylen Warren this week against the Indianapolis Colts' defense.
ESPN fantasy football analyst Eric Moody is bullish on Steelers running back Jaylen Warren this week against the Indianapolis Colts' defense.
Warren will enter Sunday's game with 309 rushing yards -- the 10th-most among running backs -- and he's averaging a hefty 5.6 yards per attempt.
The Colts ' defense, meanwhile, ranks 28th in yards per rush allowed.
So naturally, starting Warren seems like the move to make in Week 5.
"Steelers RB Jaylen Warren has 20 touches in each of the past two games and at least 15 fantasy points in both with Rico Dowdle ( toe ) out," Moody wrote. "Warren now faces a Colts defense that ranks 30th in run stop win rate and has allowed the seventh-most rushing yards per game. Indianapolis has also allowed the fourth-most receiving yards per game to RBs."
To Moody's final point, Warren has also been fairly active in the passing game, totaling 19 targets through four games, while averaging 11.0 yards per catch.
How the Colts' defense holds up against Warren and the Pittsburgh run game in general will go a long way in determining the outcome of this game.
