Brazil's Under-20 National Team takes the field this Sunday (4) for its final fixture of the FIFA international window in Spain. After beating Denmark 4-1 and the United States 2-0, Brazil will face Mexico at 11 a.m. local time (6 a.m. Brasília time) at Pinatar Arena in San Pedro del Pinatar.
Coached by Paulo Victor, the team heads into the match with two wins in two games. The time in Spain has helped the coaching staff continue their work and test the squad against opponents from different footballing backgrounds.
In the opening match, Brazil defeated Denmark 4-1, with goals from Bruninho, Lucas Rodrigues, Heittor, and Yuri Leles. The forward, who scored in the first match, highlighted the importance of the experience with the national team and the run of games.
Against the United States, the team won again, this time 2-0, with goals from Igor Felisberto and Heittor. The match was more evenly contested and required a response from Brazil after a first half in which the Americans had more control.
For Yuri Leles, the team is prepared for the final challenge of the stretch.
"I think we're very well prepared to go out there again tomorrow, play a great match against Mexico, and finish strong."
Mexico will be Brazil's final opponent during this spell in Spain. The match will be broadcast on CBF TV.
