Ottawa Senators forward Tim Stützle's personal chef chimed in Wednesday night following Stützle's viral comment about why he didn't go out to dinner with former teammate Brady Tkachuk.
Prior to the Sens' 5-1 home win over Tkachuk and his new team, the Florida Panthers, Stützle was asked if he had dinner with Tkachuk, and he responded by saying, "I have a chef at home, so I didn't go for dinner."

Stützle's chef, Michael Hauschild later wrote on his Instagram Stories , "Brady Tkachuk, you should have had me cook for you too."
Tkachuk spent his first eight NHL seasons in Ottawa, and served as the Sens' captain from 2021 to 2026.
Ottawa traded Tkachuk to Florida in June for four draft picks, allowing him the opportunity to join forces with his brother, Matthew Tkachuk, as a member of the Panthers.
The Senators didn't have much choice other than to move on from Tkachuk, since he informed management that he would not re-sign with the organization upon the expiration of his contract in 2028, per Julian McKenzie of The Athletic.
As a result, the crowd reaction toward Tkachuk at the Senators' Canadian Tire Centre was hugely negative Wednesday night.
Tkachuk seemed to relish the chance to be a villain, though, as he skated around the ice and waved to the fans with a smile on his face despite getting showered with boos:
It was fitting that Tkachuk scored the lone goal for Florida on Wednesday night, as he put the Panthers ahead 1-0 midway through the first period.
However, it was all Senators from there, as they scored five unanswered goals in a convincing victory.
Stützle tied the game about four minutes after Tkachuk scored, and he also assisted on the Sens' final goal of the game in the third period.
Tkachuk and Stützle spent six seasons as teammates in Ottawa, and Wednesday marked the first time they ever faced off against each other at the NHL level.
Round 1 went to Stützle and the Senators, as they improved to 7-3 on the year, while Florida dropped to 5-3-2.
The next matchup between the Senators and Panthers is set for Nov. 25 in Florida, and the Panthers' next trip to Ottawa will not occur until March 18.
