LaMelo Ball and Jonathan Kuminga seemed to be having a go at Rudy Gobert during the Minnesota Timberwolves' game against the Golden State Warriors.
The Wolves went into the game without Anthony Edwards, and unsurprisingly, they didn't look like their usual selves. They suffered a 119-114 defeat in the end.
Gobert came under a lot of criticism for his performance, and Ball and Kuminga seemingly yelling at him made it an even bigger story.
However, the Frenchman has now claimed that no such thing happened between him and his two teammates.
Rudy Gobert says LaMelo Ball and Jonathan Kuminga did not disrespect him
It really was a frustrating night for the Minnesota Timberwolves against the Golden State Warriors.
The Wolves started the season in fantastic style, going 3-0. Then, they narrowly lost against the Cleveland Cavaliers before suffering another defeat to the Warriors in their last game.
Edwards' absence is clearly affecting the Timberwolves, but other players in the side need to step up. That includes Ball, Kuminga and Gobert.
The viral video that is everywhere on social media really did make it seem like Ball and Kuminga were raging at Gobert, but the latter thinks people are just assuming things.
He said, as per Andrew Dukowitz on X: "Sometimes people make an assumption and it's totally something different, with the angles and stuff. There might be some of that. But I didn't feel any animosity.
"There was some frustration, for sure. I was frustrated. They were frustrated. Those guys have been great. Communication has been good. I've really tried to help them and also when you have a frustrating night, sometimes there's frustration.
"But I didn't feel like there was any disrespect or anything like that. Just guys that want to win and try to help each other out."
Whether it was an angry outburst or a complete misunderstanding, it seems clear that there is no animosity between the trio after the last defeat. Everybody's objective is to be better.
That is great to hear, as the Timberwolves need to stick together after losing Edwards and suffering back-to-back defeats.
