SENECA, MO. — Seneca High School Football has now rattled off three consecutive wins following a 1-2 start, taking down Monett 52-38 at home on Friday.

The Indians came out of the gates firing. Seneca opened things up with a 22-0 scoring run before the Monett offense got things going.

While Seneca deploys a run-first approach, Monett has one of the top passing attacks in the Show-Me State. That passing game got going later in the contest, including a pair of TDs through the air from Dylan Washick, one to Brayden Seitz and another to Carson Nestleroad in the first half.

However whether it be Klay Davidson, Silas Ball or Brailen Hicks, the Cubs had no answer to slow down the Seneca run game.

With the win, Seneca moves to 4-2 overall while Monett drops to 3-3. Both squads will be back in action next week with Seneca facing Aurora on Thursday, October 8 and Monett hosting McDonald County on Friday, October 9.
