Colchester sign Blackpool forward Kouassi

Colchester United have signed Blackpool forward Kylian Kouassi for an undisclosed fee.

The 23-year-old had been with the Seasiders since 2023, but spent the last two seasons on loan at Salford City and Cambridge United.

Kouassi made 14 League Two appearances for Cambridge in their 2025-26 promotion campaign, and began the new season by scoring in Blackpool's 3-1 away victory over Grimsby Town in the EFL Cup.

He is Colchester's ninth summer signing and has agreed a two-year contract.
