Notre Dame running back Jonaz Walton sets school record vs Stanford

Notre Dame Fighting Irish running back Jonaz Walton had a heck of a day against the Stanford Cardinal .

Walton set a single-game rushing record for a Notre Dame freshman running back with 181 yards. The previous record was 168, set by Josh Adams, also against Stanford, in 2015.

Walton had two touchdown runs, as well, one for 97 yards and one for 40 yards .
