Jaguars defender puts together disruptive performance in joint practice

Jacksonville Jaguars' defensive end Josh Hines-Allen was extremely disruptive in the team's first joint practice with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers .

"If Tuesday's practice was a game, Josh Hines-Allen could have set a career-high in single-game sacks," wrote John Shipley of Jaguars on SI.

Mia O'Brien noted that during the one-on-one periods, Hines-Allen won six of his matchups.

That high level of play then carried over to the 11-on-11 work, with O'Brien adding that Hines-Allen had three sacks, including a strip-sack, in just one period.

Along with his pass rush production, Shipley wrote that Hines-Allen was finding success lining up on both sides of the line and in the run game.

Overall, the Jaguars' defense had a strong showing during this first joint practice, and a lot of that success started up front with the play of the defensive line, specifically Hines-Allen.
