Panthers fans react to blowout win over Falcons in Week 2

Technically, the Atlanta Falcons are owned by Arthur Blank, a philanthropist who's worth some $13.2 billion, according to the latest estimates at Forbes. But you could make a case, especially after Sunday, that their true owner is Carolina Panthers quarterback Bryce Young.

Young passed for 287 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 34-3 victory at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. He and the Panthers have now won five straight games against Atlanta.

And Young's sharp performance was only one reason to celebrate for Panthers fans.

Their defense was extremely impressive at the second level, where newcomers Devin Lloyd and Bobby Okereke combined for three interceptions and 18 tackles. The Panthers may have also found a new weapon on special teams, as wide receiver Jalen Coker shined as a punt returner.

The outlook for their 2026 season is suddenly pretty bright.
