Mics Caught Caitlin Clark's Teammate's Reaction To Her Late 3-Pointer

Team USA's women's basketball squad improved to 3-0 at the FIBA Women's World Cup on Monday evening.

The American women, led by Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier, took down the Czech Republic in blowout fashion on Monday. Team USA looked much better than they did on Sunday. The Americans were coming off a close, 55-52 win over Italy. They rebounded against Czechia with a dominant performance.

Late in the game, Caitlin Clark drilled a 3-pointer from deep. TNT's cameras panned to her teammates on the bench.

Jackie Young was seen clapping on the bench. The veteran WNBA guard was heard telling her teammate, Kahleah Copper: "You better clap."

Of course, there are multiple ways to take this. The Clark supporters will take this as evidence that all of her teammates don't like her.

However, at that stage in the game, when you're leading by more than 40 points, it's reasonable to not clap at every bucket.

Breanna Stewart led the way for Team USA on Monday night, hitting 8 of 11 field goals and scoring 19 points. She was a dominant force.

"I wanted to come out and really lead this team in a number of ways," Stewart said on the broadcast postgame. "Wanted to make sure that today we really took things into our own hands and really lead by example."

The quarterfinals of the 2026 FIBA Women's World Cup will begin on Thursday, September 10. There will be quarterfinals qualifications on Tuesday, September 8 and Wednesday, September 9.

Team USA and France are heading into the quarterfinals as the two clear frontrunners to win it all. The Americans and the French could be on a collision course in the gold medal game. It could be a very fun game to watch, with several WNBA stars on display.
