The Buffalo Bills will be facing the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 3, and they may be getting one of their key receivers on the field. After suffering an AC joint sprain against the Detroit Lions , D.J. Moore was back at practice for the Bills, and it sounds like everything is good with him health-wise.
"Felt great. Still gotta go through some things, but we're going to be good," Moore said via Matt Parrino of Syracusedotcom.
Shortly after Moore was injured in the game , it seemed as if he dodged any sort of major injury, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network at the time.
"It means that it's probably the best-case scenario. I mean, landed hard. You know, all the Twitter doctors were kind of up in arms about, you know, reading his eulogy and all that," Rapoport said. "And then it's like sprain AC joint day-to-day. We'll see if he's able to play next week.
"They got kind of a little extra time, obviously, because they played on Thursday, but not major, separated shoulder essentially, which is what an AC joint sprain is. I think he should be okay long term for sure. So definitely good outcome for the Bills."
It would be good for the Bills to have Moore suit up, as they've been on a tear to start the season. Josh Allen looks like he's better than last season, which would be crazy, but he's doing everything an MVP would do. Even if Moore isn't able to play, they should be fine for the time being.
In the end, the most important thing is that Moore is 100% and that he can make an impact at a high level for the Bills when he's on the field.
