Lions' Jahmyr Gibbs snags endorsement with new Kool-Aid product line
"Oh, yeah!" Detroit Lions star running back Jahmyr Gibbs snagged an endorsement deal with Kool-Aid's new hydration drink product line.
As Detroit's 2026 regular season swiftly approaches, Lions fans could be drinking the Kool-Aid both figuratively and now literally. Franchise cornerstone running back Jahmyr Gibbs has been named one of three new Kool-Aid Hydration Athletes by the popular flavored drink brand.
Kool-Aid named Gibbs, Los Angeles Rams running back Kyren Williams, and Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette as brand ambassadors for its new Kool-Aid Hydration line, which comes in three flavors and includes electrolytes.
Kool-Aid's new hydration mix line features three flavors: tropical punch, blue raspberry lemonade and grape.
While the Honolulu Blue-esque shade of the blue raspberry lemonade flavoring could have fit the Lions ' color scheme perfectly, Gibbs is depicted in Kool-Aid's Instagram announcement representing tropical punch. Obviously, the three stars are not bound to one particular flavor, so this is merely a matter of irony.
All three flavors of Kool-Aid Hydration are available at most major grocery retailers, such as Walmart, Kroger, Meijer, Target and Amazon.
The Lions open their regular-season slate on Sunday, Sept. 13 at Ford Field against the New Orleans Saints , scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m. ET and broadcast on Fox.
