CBS Sports unveiled its top 10 college football quarterback rankings on Wednesday, already sparking debate among fans.

Oregon quarterback Dante Moore headlines the list after a strong 2025 season, finishing with 3,565 yards through the air, 30 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He helped Oregon get to the College Football Playoff semifinals last year before losing to Indiana.

Texas quarterback Arch Manning is second on the list and had a nice end to the 2025 season, finishing with 3,163 yards through the air, 26 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. He hopes to lead Texas to the CFP this season after the program missed out last year.

Ole Miss quarterback Trinidad Chambliss, Miami quarterback Darian Mensah, and Ohio State quarterback Julian Sayin round out the top five. Chambliss and Sayin are returning to their respective schools, while Mensah will make his Miami debut this Friday against Stanford.

Mensah spent the 2025 season with Duke and helped the program win the ACC title over Virginia, finishing with 3,973 yards through the air, 34 touchdowns, and six interceptions. He transferred to Miami during the offseason and will try to help the program win the national title this season.

Notre Dame quarterback CJ Carr, USC quarterback Jayden Maiava, Indiana quarterback Josh Hoover, SMU quarterback Kevin Jennings, and Auburn quarterback Byrum Brown round out the top 10.

Yes, Moore is ranked above Manning in these power rankings, which makes sense since Moore had the better 2025 campaign. However, both quarterbacks are among the top favorites for the Heisman Trophy this season.

We'll see how this list ages once we get further into the 2026 college football season.
