“Winning is never a given” Vicario proud to help Juventus beat Parma

Guglielmo Vicario contributed as Juventus beat Parma 2-0 at home last night , making at least one stunning save to help the team win the match.

The men at the Allianz Stadium did their best to ensure they won the match, even though they had to wait until the second half to score both goals.

They also had to rely on substitutes for the victory, but they got the job done, and the Bianconeri will be delighted to have found the right formula to secure a first win of the season.

In goal, they needed Vicario to be at his best when Parma found a way through their defence, and he was, pulling off at least one world-class save during the match.

The goalkeeper is on loan from Tottenham and is working his way back into contention to prove to the Bianconeri that they have a capable goalkeeper in their ranks.

Winning is never a given, it's what we work for, but we must respect our opponents; they're always tough, they ruin your game, and this is a victory we're taking. We'll start again tomorrow; there's no time to rest on our laurels. We'll already be working hard, thinking about next Sunday."

Vicario's performance was key to Juventus' clean sheet, particularly when Parma created openings during the game.
