Tuloso-Midway tennis falls short in state championship, Flour Bluff exits in semis

Tuloso-Midway's historic season came to a close Thursday, Oct. 22, after a 10-7 loss to Canyon Randall in the UIL Class 4A tennis state championship.

The Warriors reached the championship match for the first time in program history after defeating Fredericksburg 10-5 in the Region IV-4A final and Robinson 10-1 in Wednesday's state semifinals.

Flour Bluff's season ended Wednesday, Oct. 21, with a dramatic 10-9 loss to Frisco Centennial in the Class 5A state semifinals.

The Hornets reached the semifinals for the second consecutive year after defeating Boerne 11-2 in the regional final.
