Rams CB Trent McDuffie exits vs. Chargers due to back injury

After missing the last two games with a groin injury, Trent McDuffie returned on Sunday for the Los Angeles Rams . Unfortunately, he got hurt again in the third quarter.

He suffered a back injury against the Los Angeles Chargers while making a tackle in the backfield. He limped off the field and was favoring his back, getting examined further on the sideline before being taken to the locker room.

The Rams announced McDuffie is questionable to return. The news came shortly after Jaylen Watson was ruled out for the rest of the game due to a shoulder injury, which he also suffered in the third quarter .
