Steelers CB Joey Porter Jr.’s Agent Pushing Envelope

Only time will tell when Joey Porter Jr. gets back on the field for the Pittsburgh Steelers , if at all. The Pittsburgh Steelers' standout cornerback is waiting on a new contract, with the situation having dragged on into the season.

Being that the Steelers traditionally don't talk deals once Week 1 rolls around, when and if Porter re-ups with his hometown team remains to be seen. His agent, Andre Odom, reminded the Steelers that he'd like to see his client in black and gold again soon, alongside fellow former Penn State product Jaquan Brisker .

"Admittedly, there is nothing I'd rather experience more than to see my two little brothers back together in the same secondary, again," Odom wrote Friday on X. "They made history in college. They'd certainly do it now."

Brisker reposted the upload with two praying emojis and the eyes emoji. Brisker had an interception in his first game with the Steelers , last week's 20-13 win over the Atlanta Falcons at home.

"It was amazing," Brisker said of the crowd's reaction at Acrisure Stadium. "It's crazy, because I think last year, I dreamed of this moment. I'm so serious. I didn't know what team I was gonna be on, but literally, I literally had a dream of a pick in the middle of the field, and it came (true) today. It was actually crazy."

Porter, meanwhile, has been rumored to be a trade target, but the Steelers apparently haven't fielded any offers worth pulling the trigger on.
