The 2026 summer transfer window closed this Tuesday in Europe. Several last-gasp deals were made official... or collapsed late last night or overnight, while we were all already asleep.

Double thunderbolt for Monaco! Lamine Camara will ultimately not be joining Chelsea, just as Folarin Balogun will not be signing for Everton either! AS Monaco cancelled the deal for the Senegal international just when they thought they had finally managed to sell their American striker. Chelsea are furious, and the Monégasques have just waved goodbye to around €100 million. (Fabrizio Romano, RMC, Foot Mercato)

After an endless saga and absurd twists and turns, Malick Fofana has finally signed for Sunderland. The transfer fee is estimated at €35 million including bonuses.

Quinten Timber has left OM for Crystal Palace in a deal estimated at €20 million.

Enzo Fernandez has become the most expensive player in the history of the English transfer market with a €145 million move from Chelsea to Manchester City.

Ainsley Maitland-Niles has left OL to join Everton in a deal estimated at €5 million.

Ben Chilwell has left Strasbourg and signed for Crystal Palace on a free transfer.

Youssouf Fofana has joined Sevilla after his move to Olympique Lyonnais fell through.

Marc Casadó has joined Deportivo La Coruña on loan from FC Barcelona with an option to buy.
