Vanderbilt athletics extend radio deal with Cromwell Media, what you need to know
Vanderbilt athletics extended its radio partnership with Cromwell media. Coverage will include football, basketball and baseball.
Vanderbilt announced Aug. 28 that it has extended its radio partnership with Cromwell Media , which has broadcast various Commodores sporting events for the last six years.
As part of the multiyear extension there will be weekly programming and 102.5 FM will continue as the main flagship station for Vanderbilt football , men's basketball and baseball games. Also, 94.9 FM will broadcast all Vanderbilt women's basketball games and will air broadcasts when conflicts occur with the Nashville Predators schedule.
"We're incredibly proud to continue our partnership with Cromwell Media and provide Commodore fans across Middle Tennessee with a home for Vanderbilt Athletics," said Sean Ferretti, general manager of Vanderbilt Sports Properties, in a school release. "Vanderbilt has a rich tradition on the airwaves in Music City, and we're excited to build on that legacy alongside a tremendous partner in Cromwell Media. With 102.5 The Game and 94.9 The Fan, Commodore fans will continue to have outstanding access to the teams they love throughout the region."

When will the Vanderbilt Sports Network begin broadcasting in 2026?
The Commodore Hour radio show will air at 6 p.m. on Monday, beginning Aug. 31.
The first live event broadcast will be at 6 p.m. on Sept. 5 when the Commodores open the 2026 football season against Austin Peay.
