Pundit knows exactly where Juventus needs to improve on as a team

Juventus is keen to become the top team in Serie A again, and they know this will be an important season to make that happen as they look to win the Scudetto again for the first time since 2020. Juve has a strong squad and believes they can make the top four at the end of this season, which will be a great step towards them winning another league title.

They do not need to be Italian champions when this season ends, but if they do well and make progress from the last term, this could be the season that they will edge ever closer and then become champions next term. It is still very much a building site at the Allianz Stadium, and Juve is doing its best to ensure the team is in fine shape and wins some trophies as soon as they can.

Their rebuild is taking shape, and they can say they have sorted out the defence, but there are other spots on the team that remain questionable. Massimo Bonini has discussed where they need to improve and said via Tuttojuve :

"I expect them to grow, especially to be more united. Because maybe it's a team that did, yes, against Atalanta, a great performance, but in the others it left a bit to be desired.

"In the sense that maybe they get goals still demonstrating a team with not so much tactical balance. It needs to grow in compactness and be more team. But I think one thing: that Juventus has players with great talent. They just need to become more of a team."

Bonini's comments highlight the need for greater cohesion, with tactical balance a key area for improvement. The squad's talent is undeniable, but turning that into consistent results requires a collective effort. The manager's task is to mould these individuals into a cohesive unit.

Juventus's ambitions are clear, and the club is working towards a long-term vision. The defence has been strengthened, but midfield and attack still need refinement. The coming months will show whether the team can find that balance.

Supporters will hope the side can build on positives like the Atalanta performance , while addressing the inconsistencies. The Scudetto may be a stretch this term, but progress towards it is the goal. Bonini's insights reflect the challenges ahead, and the club's response will be crucial.
