The Redstreaks are moving onto Week 12 after traveling to Pomeroy to earn a hard-fought victory over Meigs.

Piketon (7-4) found itself in a 7-0 hole after giving up an early touchdown.

But with 5:48 left in the second quarter, Nolan Childers found Tristen Bodicker for a 14-yard touchdown pass to tie the score.

Meigs took a 13-7 lead early in the third, but with just five minutes left in the game, Tanner Loar scored from a yard out to give the 'Streaks a one-point lead. Braxton Walters then put the win on ice with an interception.

Childers finished 5-for-6 passing for 105 yards and a score, Bodicker had two receptions for 25 yards and a touchdown, and Loar carried the ball 23 times for 106 yards and the game-winning trip to the end zone.

Piketon will now prepare to travel to Fort Frye in Week 12. That game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. kickoff, Nov. 6.

After taking a 20-13 lead into halftime, Huntington (7-4) surrendered 22 unanswered points in a Division VI, Region 24 first-round playoff contest.

The Huntsmen got on the board with a 32-yard touchdown pass from Frankie Hirsch to LJ Cooper to take a 7-0 lead with just under 10 minutes to play in the first quarter. They'd take a 13-0 lead — following a missed PAT — when Hirsch found the end zone from 50 yards out.

Covington answered with two straight scores, forcing a 13-13 tie, but Hirsch recovered a fumble just before halftime and found the end zone for a third time, giving his team a lead at the break.

In the third, the Buccaneers found a rhythm quickly, taking a 21-20 lead with a two-point try, scoring again with a lengthy drive and delivering the final score on an interception return for a touchdown.

Hirsch led Huntington's efforts statistically, finishing 8-of-19 passing for 119 yards and a score, alongside 12 rushes for 102 yards and a touchdown. He also recovered a fumble and returned it for a score.

Cooper ended the night with five catches for 106 yards and a score.
