2026 Little League World Series: Henderson, Nevada wins 2nd straight U.S. championship, will face international title winner Curaçao for LLWS trophy

The 2026 Little League World Series championship will be determined on Sunday after Henderson, Nevada won the U.S. title and Curaçao took the international title. The teams will play on Sunday at 3 p.m. ET for the LLWS world title at Howard J. Lamade Stadium in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Hamilton, Ohio and Japan will play the third-place game at 10 a.m. ET.

Before an estimated crowd of 25,317, the team from Henderson, Nevada (representing the Mountain region) defeated Hamilton, Ohio (Great Lakes) for its second consecutive LLWS U.S. title with a 12-2 mercy rule win.

Nevada took a 1-0 lead in the first inning with a leadoff triple by pitcher Owen Guzman. He came in to score on an error by Ohio pitcher Josiah Infante who didn't catch the ball thrown back to the mound by catcher Boone Treadway. Infante escaped further damage by getting Brooks McFarland to ground into a double play.

Ohio tied the score at 1-1 in the second after a single from Bob Frazier. He scored on a groundball to shortstop that would have been a double play, but Nevada second baseman Adrian Cruz bounced the relay throw to first.

Nevada regained the lead in the second with a walk by Jace Ward and single from Michael Kleiner. Both runners moved to second and third on a wild pitch by Infante, then were driven in with a Maddox Bryan single.

Frazier took over to pitch for Ohio and walked Cruz. Bryan and Cruz were advanced on a sacrifice bunt by Payton Hinsen, then Carsynn Meyer hit an RBI single for a 4-1 lead. Nevada added 2 more runs on a Guzman single and wild pitch by Frazier.

Ohio mounted a rally in the fourth, putting its first two runners on with a Bryson Williams walk and Leo Feltner getting hit by a pitch. After Infante grounded into a double play, Frazier hit an RBI single to make it a 6-2 ballgame. A Xander Kinkade loaded the bases, but Guzman got Walker Osborne to fly out to center field to end the threat.

After adding 2 runs in the fourth, Nevada scored 4 more in the fifth with on a 2-run double by McFarland, an RBI groundout from Logan Edwards and a run-scoring single by Bryan to end the game with a 10-run lead.

Pitcher Jaymiëll Martina notched 12 strikeouts to lead Curaçao (Willemstad) to a 4-0 win over Japan (Tokyo) for the LLWS international championship.

Japan threatened to score early on singles by Tensei Yazawa and Yunosuke Yabe to lead off the game. Martina then walked Kei Kawanishi to load the bases. But Martina struck out Ryosuke Takaoka and Taiga Yumitori to keep Japan off the board.

Yunosuke Yabe didn't allow a hit in his first two innings for Tokyo. But Curaçao broke through with three runs in the third, thanks to several defensive miscues by Japan.

Jaymiel Antonia reached base on a dropped third strike by catcher Kei Kawanishi. Nathanael Jansen then laid down a bunt to move Antonia over, but Yazawa made an error throwing the ball to second base. Center fielder Takeru Yorozu then threw the ball wide of third base, allowing Antonia to score.

Jansen advanced to third on a sacrifice bunt, then came in to score on a bunt by Jordan Richards and an error by first baseman Rui Tobata. Curaçao added its third run when Tobata fielded another bunt and threw wide of first base, allowing Richards to score.
