Predicting Ravens’ offensive line depth chart after acquiring Cam Jurgens

Cam Jurgens gives Baltimore a proven center and could allow first-round pick Vega Ioane to return to his natural position

· 490 words

Cam Jurgens' arrival gives the Baltimore Ravens an experienced center and a path to move first-round pick Vega Ioane back to his natural position at right guard.

The two-time Pro Bowler is expected to take over at center in Week 6 against Cleveland, provided he clears concussion protocol. That would restore both players to their customary NFL assignments while giving Baltimore more flexibility across an offensive line disrupted by injuries. The projected starting five would feature Ronnie Stanley at left tackle, John Simpson at left guard, Jurgens at center, Ioane at right guard, and Roger Rosengarten at right tackle. Stanley's health remains a significant consideration, while Andrew Vorhees and Emery Jones Jr. provide options inside.

Projected offensive line once Jurgens is available

This projection incorporates Jurgens and returns Ioane to guard. Baltimore's existing depth chart lists Vinson behind both tackles and Vorhees and Jones among its guard options. Ioane's recent work at center gives the Ravens another contingency there.

Baltimore acquired Jurgens after injuries depleted its center depth. Danny Pinter, Jovaughn Gwyn and Ethan Pocic landed on injured reserve, forcing the Ravens to move Ioane inside. Jurgens offers a longer-term solution once he is cleared to play. Philadelphia had moved Jurgens to left guard this season, with Drew Kendall taking over at center after Landon Dickerson's injury. Baltimore's plan returns Jurgens to the position where he earned his two Pro Bowl selections.

His immediate work will involve learning the offense's protection calls and establishing timing with his quarterback and guards.

Ioane began the season as Baltimore's starting right guard before the center injuries forced a change. Jurgens' arrival allows the rookie to resume that assignment.

Ioane handled his first start at center against Tennessee, but returning to guard would give him a more consistent role alongside Rosengarten. His experience at center also remains valuable if Baltimore needs another replacement.

Until Jurgens is available, Ioane remains the logical option to continue snapping the ball.

Andrew Vorhees remains important to the interior.

Vorhees filled the right guard opening created by Ioane's move to center. He left the Tennessee game with a foot injury and did not practice Wednesday. Returning Ioane to guard would move Vorhees into a reserve role.

The trade lets Baltimore rebuild its depth without requiring every available interior lineman to start.

Emery Jones Jr. provides another guard option.

Jones replaced Vorhees against Tennessee and remains part of Baltimore's immediate contingency plan. If Vorhees cannot play while Ioane continues at center, Jones could start at right guard.

Once Jurgens joins the lineup, Jones would remain a reserve guard in the projected configuration.

Ronnie Stanley's health remains a separate concern

Stanley did not practice Wednesday, with rest, toe, and ankle designations on the injury report. His availability remains central to Baltimore's left-side protection.

Vinson is the listed reserve behind Stanley and Rosengarten. Adding Jurgens strengthens the middle of the line, but the Ravens still need healthy tackles and dependable edge depth.
