Indiana women’s basketball lands commitment from 5-star F Azy Jackson
Indiana lands a top-20 player in the country in Azy Jackson, a forward in the class of 2027 out of Washington.
Indiana women's basketball and Teri Moren have been on fire on the recruiting trail as of late. That continued into this week when Azy Jackson, a 5-star forward in the class of 2027, announced her commitment to Indiana via social media on Friday morning.
Jackson, who attends Bonney Lake High School in Bonney Lake, Washington, chose the Hoosiers over offers from Kansas, Cal, UNC and Big Ten rival USC, among others. She ranks in as the 20th highest-rated prospect in ESPN's SC Next 100 and joins Brookeslee Colvin and Finley Parker in Indiana's 2027 class.
She averaged 14.6 points and 14.8 rebounds per game as a junior in 2025-26 with her recruiting star skyrocketing. Standing at 6'4", she can get to her spots and score around the basket while seeing the floor well and fascilitating the offense as a passer.
Jackson suffered a season-ending knee injury in July and will miss the 2026-27 high school season as a result, per reporting from ESPN .
