Manchester City attacker Jack Grealish has reportedly decided that he wants to join Everton ahead of Aston Villa if he leaves the Etihad Stadium club this summer. The Englishman spent last season on loan with the Toffees and Everton manager David Moyes wants him back at the Hill Dickinson Stadium club. However, Grealish also has an offer from former club Villa, with the Midlands club desperate to bolster their attack. Villans boss Unai Emery is set to be without Ollie Watkins and he wants reinforcements in the final third.

Villa wants Grealish back but the 30-year-old is keen on returning to Everton if he leaves Man City. He featured against Arsenal in the Community Shield and also came off the bench against Bournemouth in City's first Premier League game of 2026-27. Enzo Maresca could opt to hold on to the Toffees target but there are no guarantees that he will get to play regularly given the options available to the new City manager.

Grealish was a regular at Everton last season before an injury ended his loan spell, starting 18 of the 20 Premier League games he featured in.
