Which Oregon commits, 2028 recruits are on campus for game vs. Nebraska?
Oregon will welcome back top commits Rashad Streets and Tae Walden Jr., as well as several 2028 recruiting targets for Saturday's game vs. Nebraska.
The Oregon Ducks are welcoming back several talented recruits and commits once again this weekend against the Nebraska Cornhuskers . They will hope to give the incoming talent a better show than last week's loss to UCLA.
There are expected to be at least 15 recruits on the sideline for Saturday's game, with the potential for the list to expand. Among those visitors are seven committed players in the 2027 class, highlighted by five-star edge rusher Rashad Streets and four-star athlete Tae Walden Jr.
Streets makes the trip from Raleigh, North Carolina, and is one of Oregon's top commits. So far in his senior season, Streets has compiled 60 tackles, 33.5 tackles for loss, and 13 sacks in seven games at Millbrook High School. He is a top-30 recruit in the country, and he has remained steadfast in his commitment to the Ducks , even being one of the more vocal commits on social media, recruiting other players.
Walden was a splashy add to the class over the summer, as the Ducks pulled off the comeback win in the recruiting race after getting his final official visit. Walden is a star at wideout and corner, and he has the potential to play both sides in Eugene. However, Walden has stayed close with Ole Miss and was on campus for the Rebels' emotional win over LSU, so the Ducks have some competition to contend with.
So far this season, Walden has made 47 catches for 797 yards and nine touchdowns as a receiver, while making 16 tackles and six deflections defensively. This is the first time Walden will be on campus this fall, so the Ducks must do what they can to impress him and keep the Tennessee product roped in to Oregon's process.
Also in attendance, the Ducks will welcome four-star linebacker Toa Satele and four-star offensive lineman Gus Corsair , who is back in Eugene for a second consecutive game. In-state commits Malachi Garlington , George VanSandt and Josh Christensen will also return for another game day visit.
Satele, the No. 1 player from Hawaii in the 2027 class, is another guy who could make an immediate impact next season, and he isn't returning to Eugene alone. Satele's younger brother, Trison, is one of the top defensive linemen in the 2028 class and is already a priority target for the Ducks.
Oregon is also hosting 2028 wideout Jayce Halasz for the second weekend in a row and third game-day visit this season. The Washington recruit is heavily considering the Ducks, and he is returning for a second-straight game after not getting to spend enough time with the Ducks last week because of the early kickoff. He has 19 catches for 431 yards and seven touchdowns this season at Graham-Kapowskin High School.
Another intriguing wideout in the class will make his way to Eugene this weekend, as Quincey Clay, the top player in Idaho, will visit the Ducks for the first time. He saw Oregon in action in Los Angeles against USC, and he left Southern California with an offer from the Ducks. Now, he will visit with the potential to become another big Idaho recruiting win for Dan Lanning , following wins with Kenyon Sadiq and Gatlin Bair .
The Ducks are closely linked to 2028 quarterbacks Josiah Boyd and Tristin Gaines , but they are keeping their options open, hosting four-star quarterback Luke Rubley from Aurora, Colorado. A 6-foot-3 passer, Rubley has tossed 15 touchdowns against six interceptions this season, while completing 60.6% of his passes.
Oregon will also host four-star offensive lineman Grayson Williams and four-star defensive lineman Geraci Carson, both of whom are top-100 players in the 2028 class from the Southeast. Carson is a big target in an area the Ducks didn't recruit well in the 2027 class, but LSU and Ole Miss are currently top contenders for the Mississippi recruit. Also, 2029 offensive tackle Sonny Lefotu and his brother, 2028 linebacker Isaiah Lefotu, will both visit from Bakersfield.
Oregon and Nebraska are set to kick off on Saturday at 8 p.m. PT, with the game airing live on Fox.
