Falcons to induct John Abraham and Bill Fralic to Ring of Honor this season

The Atlanta Falcons are set to induct two more players into the Ring of Honor this season, the team announced on Friday morning. Defensive end John Abraham and guard Bill Fralic will join the 14 current members of the franchise's most exclusive club.

Abraham spent seven seasons in Atlanta (2006-2013), averaging nearly 10 sacks per season and finishing with a career-high 16.5 sacks in 2008. Over his 102 games with the Falcons 97 (starts), Abraham recorded 68.5 sacks, 115 QB hits and 48 forced fumbles.

Fralic, a former first-round pick, spent eight out of his nine NFL seasons in Atlanta, making four Pro Bowls and two first-team All Pro appearances.

Since Fralic passed away in 2018, the team will posthumously induct him during the team's Week 16 matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Abraham will be inducted into the Ring of Honor at halftime of the Falcons' Week 5 game against the Baltimore Ravens .
