Five more football games set to air as Games of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- Four games have aired as the KELOLAND Sports Games of the Week so far, but there are several more set for the remainder of the season.

KELOLAND News announced the first six games of the season in July. Two of those games are set to air over the next couple of weeks, followed by five more.

The last five games are the newest set of contests to be announced.

Friday, October 9 - 7 PM - Hamlin at Garretson

The first addition to the KELOLAND Sports Game of the Week list is a 9AA showdown between Hamlin and Garretson.

The two teams each have only one loss through September 23. Garretson is 4-1, while Hamlin is 3-1.

Friday, October 16 - 7 PM - Jefferson at O'Gorman

The final full week of the regular season will take us to O'Gorman High School as the Knights take on Jefferson.

That Friday will be the last regular-season game for teams in 11B and 9-man classes.

Jefferson is 4-0 as of September 23, while O'Gorman is 2-2.

Thursday, October 22 - 6:30 PM - Yankton at Tea Area

The last regular season Game of the Week will take place in Tea for a 6:30 p.m. kick-off.

Yankton and the Tea Area are both off to strong starts this season. The Titans are 4-0 as of September 23, while Yankton is 3-1.

KELOLAND Sports will broadcast two playoff games, one in the quarterfinals on October 29 and one in the semifinals on November 6.

The matchups and kick-off times are to be announced.
