For the first time in 15 years, the iconic five-borough course of the TCS New York City Marathon is changing -- but only slightly.
The affected portion involves a roughly mile-long stretch in the Bronx.
The old course had previously looped around a block that included a supermarket, which effectively cut it off from people in the neighborhood during the race.
