Kentucky vs. Oklahoma Injury Report: CJ Baxter questionable; Eddy Pierre-Louis unlikely to play

Baxter remains questionable to play Saturday, while the Sooners get some bad news with the offensive line.

The Kentucky Wildcats and Oklahoma Sooners have released their second injury report ahead of Saturday's clash in Norman.

For Kentucky, Thursday's report was mostly the same as Wednesday. The big one to watch is still running back CJ Baxter, who popped up on Wednesday's report as questionable after briefly leaving last week's win over LSU with an injury. Baxter is still questionable to play.

If Baxter misses this game, Jovantae Barnes could start Saturday in what would be his return to Oklahoma for the first time since leaving the Sooners after four seasons in Norman. Jason Patterson would also be in line to see significant playing time.

Backup defensive end Tyler Thomas has now been ruled out, which is the only change for Kentucky from Wednesday's report.

For Oklahoma, the big one to watch is standout left tackle Michael Fasusi, who has been out since Week 1 but is very close to returning, which would be a massive boost against a strong Kentucky frontline. Fasusi is still listed as questionable.

The Sooners did get some bad news, as starting guard Eddy Pierre-Louis, who was listed as questionable on Wednesday, is now doubtful to play.

Wide receiver Parker Livingstone has also been downgraded from questionable to doubtful.
