Oba Femi Beats Bronson Reed, Predicting The Ruler's Next Top Matches After WWE Money in the Bank

Oba Femi beat Bronson Reed in a grudge match at WWE Money in the Bank on Saturday night.

This was a tough match between two powerful men.

Reed went airborne early to take down Femi.

Reed later landed a Tsunami, but Femi somehow kicked out.

A ferocious Femi was too tough in the end. He chokeslammed an interfering Austin Theory before tossing Reed and hitting him with the Fall From Grace for the win.

Femi vs. Reed had been in the works for over a month, dating back to Reed's surprise return from injury during Femi's match against Bron Breakker at Sunday Night's Main Event on Sept. 6.

Reed came to the aid of his Vision stablemate, attacking Femi with a steel chair and causing a disqualification.

Femi and Reed continued to clash in the weeks that followed Sunday Night's Main Event, but Bronson often had backup in the form of The Vision.

On the Raw after SNME, the entire group brutally attacked Femi, including Reed, who laid him out with multiple Tsunami splashes.

At the end of the segment, Reed even placed his foot atop the prone Femi, just as Oba had done to Brock Lesnar during his heated rivalry with The Beast Incarnate.

However, Femi swatted Reed's foot away as he lay on the mat.

That situation added to the intrigue surrounding the match and another layer to their storyline rivalry.

Either way, Saturday's win was a huge one for The Ruler, as he remains on track for an eventual world title opportunity.

In terms of what might be next for Femi, another clash with Breakker seems plausible since there was not a decisive finish to their first match.

Another thing to keep an eye on is Femi possibly participating in a WarGames match at Survivor Series in November. With two major feuds dominating Raw, perhaps Femi joining forces with The Bloodline to face The Vision and The 946 could be in the cards.
