Sam Darnold will not play in Week 9

Seattle Seahawks QB Sam Darnold (ribs, quadriceps) did not participate in practice Friday, Nov. 6, and has been ruled out for Week 9.

Why It Matters: Darnold is considered week-to-week, so fantasy players will need to check on his practice participation next week. Drew Lock is set to start in Week 9 and has played well in his limited playing time this season. He can be considered a No. 2 quarterback in fantasy leagues.
