Travis Erickson: Prep Roundup 8/27: Northmont stays unbeaten with win against Sidney

Kamryn Kleber and Grant Brown booted in two goals apiece to help lead Northmont boys soccer in a 7-0 win against Sidney on Thursday, Aug. 27.

Colby Merrell, Gavin Rammel and Gavin Young each added a goal and Ethan Crist registered his third consecutive shutout.

The win moved Northmont to 4-0 and the T-Bolts will play next at Centerville on Tuesday, Sept. 1.

Northmont 7, Sidney 0: Kamryn Kleber and Grant Brown booted in two goals apiece, Ethan Crist earned the shutout and Northmont improved to 4-0.

Lakota West 1, Moeller 1: Adam Kauffman drove in the equalizer with under 10 minutes to play to give Lakota West the tie.

Stebbins 2, Edgewood 0: Ali Muratov and Elvin Sagastume finished with a goal apiece for Stebbins while Justin Reyes recorded the shutout.

Carroll 5, Butler 1: Alex Bakota, Tadeas Fedorisin, Luke Tokarz, Noely Oliver and Luke Haggerty each scored a goal to help Carroll move to 4-0.

Franklin 1, Ross 0: Tito Harrison scored the deciding goal, Kellen Dunn and Brady Lucas split on the shutout and Franklin improved to 3-0.

Talawanda 9, Mt. Healthy 0: Noel Albarran turned in four goals while Evan Ruehl racked up six saves to tally the shutout for Talawanda.

Lebanon 2, Springboro 1: Lebanon won the rivalry series for the first time since 2013. Maddie Wagers and Abby Nisonger each scored a goal to lead the way.

Lakota East 2, Kings 0: Bailey Bacher scored off a Lexi Stelzer assist and Emmaline Slusher tallied the shutout to lead East.

Urbana 3, Calvary Christian 1: Lola Rice scored twice and Olivia Mackendrick added a goal to pace Urbana.

Ross 3, Franklin 0: Mady Koeninger chipped in a pair of goals and Mia Michel posted the 22nd shutout of her career for Ross.

Eaton 1, Dayton Christian 0: Adie Heggs scored the lone goal off a Myla Roberts assist for Eaton and Miley Moore picked up the clean sheet in goal.

Waynesville 8, Middletown Madison 0: Corinne Suittor recorded three goals with three assists and Maggie Martini added two goals with two assists for Waynesville.

Talawanda 14, Mt. Healthy 0: 13 different girls notched a score for Talawanda, led by Aleah Azbill with two.

Twin Valley South 6, National Trail 0: Josey Butler put up three goals with two assists, Grace Childers tallied the shutout and TVS improved to 3-0.

Troy Christian 4, Bethel 2: Mikey Berner tallied two goals to help Troy Christian prevail in a battle of early season unbeatens.

Greeneview 20, Madison Plains 0: 14 different girls scored for Greeneview while Lily Hendricks completed the shutout.

Catholic Central 8, Yellow Springs 1: Riley Shay netted four goals for Catholic Central.

Coldwater 5, Jay County 0: Heidi Wermert turned in three goals to lead Coldwater.
